George & Lynns Quality Boers

George and I started with goats in 1999. We first purchased 25 head of Boer cross animals and after several months we decided to go to registered full bloods and registered percentages. We sold the original 25 animals to McLemore Farms.

We then went shopping for another herd and found a very nice bunch of registered animals and purchased them. We attended multiple seminars on goat health from Fort Valley and any other reading/educational material we could find. For the past few years we have been building our breeding stock and are now up to around 100 breeding animals. We have 40-50 animals going to the market and/or 4-H sales planned in the next few months. Our goal for our herd and others is to get to a stage of a standardized carcass animal for quality meat production for years to come and also be able to enlighten the public on the values and nutrition that is in goat meat today. I have worked hands on with these particular animals and many others in Ben Hill County over the last few years. I also own and operate a feed and animal health store here locally. I have assisted the local veterinarians in this area with the goats and their nutritional needs.

My husband and I are now and have been working with nutritionists and feed formulators over the past few years to put together our own feed and nutritional items for multiple species of animals.

We have an online animal department store so to speak. We sell and ship various products all over the United States. When people call and ask me for certain products, if I don't carry it, I will find someone that does. If you see something you need, or have a question about, please feel free to contact us.

We thank you for visiting our pages and our farm. We would love for you to come back often and see the updates on pictures and information as we get it in.
